The ego is a person’s sense of importance and esteem and to many philosophies the source of suffering in our lives. From this perspective, we want to believe we last forever and our names will live on forever- things we associate with vanity and greed. This is about shirking that notion.
lyrics
Slowly controlling, make it feel right again.
Slowly de-rolling, make it feel right again.
Though we’re picking up stuff.
Destroy me. Make it feel right again.
You can take anything with you to the afterlife
Though we’re picking up stuff.
